🚨 Ring Ring! Who's That? Sneaky Trick Alert! 🚨

Hey Cyber Heros! πŸ‘‹ Ever get a phone call πŸ“ž from someone you don't know asking for "the boss" or "the person in charge of IT"? Maybe they sound super official? πŸ€”

Hold the phone! (Literally! πŸ˜‰)

Sometimes, β€˜Bad Actors’ (we call them social engineers 🎣) make these calls. They might ask: "Hi, can you put me through to the Head of IT?" or "Is Tim still in charge of paying the bills?"

Why is this sneaky? They're fishing! 🎣 They want YOU to tell them exactly who the important people are.

Why shouldn't you help? If you confirm a name ("Yup, Alex's the guy!") or transfer the call, you might be handing that trickster the keys to the castle! 🏰 Oops! They can use that info to pretend they know Alex, send fake emails, or try other scams on other people within Aspire! 😱

Be a Security Cyber Hero! Here's your power move: πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈ

  1. DON'T Confirm Names/Titles: If they ask "Is Antony the boss?", just say, "I can't share employee details."

  2. DON'T Transfer Blindly: Never transfer a cold caller directly to someone specific if you don't know the caller is legit.

  3. DO Offer to Take a Message: "If you give me your name, number, and what your call is about, I can pass along the message." (Real callers won't mind!)

  4. DO Tell Someone: Let your DMS or Aspire Security team know if a call feels fishy! 🐠

✨ Remember: Protecting our people helps protect the whole team! Stay sharp, stay safe, and don't let the tricksters win! ✨
