Changing Your Phone Number for 2-Step Verification

If you have a new phone number and need to change where your 2-step verification code goes to, it's a cinch!

Head on over to https://myaccount.google.com/security and click on 2-Step Verification:

Find the Voice or Text Message field, and select that:

You can then add in a new phone number and delete the old one.

Follow the prompts to add in your new number:

Codes will then go to the new phone number you've specified.
