If the AMD is not running or saying "athenaNet Device Manager is not installed, or its Windows service is not running"

Follow these steps and it will get the AMD running again.

1. On the Athena Home page, navigate to the settings icon next to the "support" opption at the top of the Athena page.

2. Select the option "Device Management"

3. On the Device management page you will notice that it will say "AMD is not connected" or "installed" If you see this please click on the Site permissions icon to the left of the web address bar, then select "reset permissions"

4. After clicking on "Reset permissions" another pop up will appear and it will ask permission for Athena. Click on "allow".
5. Now the AMD will say "AMD is running". Once it says that it is running, navigate down to "Device" and where its says "Clinicals Document Scanning" move the mouse cursor over to the "module" column and select "install v3.0.6.0" and it will conncet the scanner and should get a green check mark under the status column indicating it has been connected.

6. Once the green check mark appears on the status column for the Clinicals Document Scanning, there will be a popup at the top (which will appear after reseting the site permissions from step 3). Click the reload option to apply the changes

After the site reloads, the scanner and other areas in Athena should be back to normal operation. However, if the issue still persists please let us know and we will continue to troubleshoot the issue.
