Registering for LYNX Alerts on a Chromebook or Cell Phone
Find the Play Store on your Chromebook. Open it and find Lynx Alerts app. Choose to install it.
Open the Lynx Alerts app.
Click Settings, and then copy in the one-time use, unique activation key you’ve been sent via email. Hit the + button to activate.

Once you activate, you should see alarm buttons. These are live and can be used when appropriate. PLEASE NOTE: THE ALARM BUTTONS DO NOT CALL 911 AND INSTEAD ALERT OTHER ASPIRE EMPLOYEES OF YOUR EMERGENCY.
Example is shown here. You will be sending your location and also have the option to add a (brief) message as part of the popup.
Please note: the first time you click on an alarm, it will ask permission to have your location. Please choose “while using the app.”
Be sure to right-click and Pin the app so that it appears at the bottom of your screen:
Lynx Alerts should automatically download as a part of your work profile apps. If it does not, find it in the applicable app store (note: if you are using a personal phone, be sure to open Lynx on the Work Profile version of your app store).
Open your activation email from Lynx.

Open the Lynx Alerts app, then go to Settings, choose the camera option, and scan the QR code in your email to activate.
